Background, Project Description, and Gameplay

Domino Earning World is a blockchain-based game and community centered on various skill based iterations of Dominoes. The term โ€œDominoesโ€ refers to a family of tile-based games played with rectangular tiles, divided in the middle, with a number of spots (also known as pips or dots) between 6 and none.

The Game allows domino enthusiasts to play in a digital world focused on various skill-based Dominoes games. Players can customize and mint avatars represented by non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which can be customized with various accessories (also NFTs). Additionally, players can purchase NFTs representing domino decks, tables, game centers, and interact with the envi

ronment by organizing games and tournaments with other players.

Game Modes and Game Centers

The Game has 6 game mode types. Each mode has different rules, but in each mode the goal is to reach a score (goal) faster than the other players by placing your dominos in a certain manner and order. It is impossible to win at any of the game modes through sheer luck โ€“ rather, skill is a material and predominant factor in determining the winner. Additionally, players must act within a time limit and are rewarded for quick (and correct) decision-making. To the extent that there is any element of chance at all, it is minimal and is similar to who goes first in game of chess.

Players can participate either as a player or owner in the game, or both. As player, participants can mint or buy an avatar NFT to represent them within the game and play various domino games for real-money prizes. As a game center owner, the player can host various domino games and tournaments, as well as customize their domino game center with various cosmetics to at tract players to their particular center. Game center owners will also receive their own dedicated Discord channel to promote their game center NFT and attract players.

The Game involves the application of substantial skill, both as a player and as a game center owner.

As a player, the following skills are used:

  • Knowledge of the game.

  • Logical tile placement, considering what the other players have played and what the player has in their particular hand.

  • Quick decision making and hand-eye coordination to make a play before the timer runs out.

  • Mathematics, specifically when evaluating the optimal scoring opportunities; - Strategic tile placement and evaluation of other playersโ€™ moves.

As a game center owner, the following skills are used:

  • Knowledge of the game.

  • Observation of the other players and the demand for particular types of games or tourna ments.

  • Marketing strategies using Discord and other methods to attract users to their game cen ter.

As a player, it is impossible to win at a game of dominos by random chance or pure luck. As a game center owner, it is impossible to passively attract players or a clientele โ€“ significant effort and skill must be utilized.

Scholarship/Staking Program

The Developer is also offering an Avatar rental or โ€œscholarshipโ€ program where players can use Avatars owned by others to play the Games, in exchange for a share of the prize pool won. This model allows skilled domino players to participate without having to purchase an NFT Avatar and allows Avatar owners to use their Avatar without directly playing the Games. This system is similar to the โ€œrentalโ€ gameplay mechanic offered by other blockchain-based games, such as Zed.Run. It is also similar to โ€œstakingโ€ available in other blockchain-based games, where players have the opportunity to lock-up their particular NFT in exchange for in-game rewards.

Monetization

The in-game currency is called Domicoin. Domicoin may be obtained by exchanging it for sta blecoins USDT or USDC. Players likewise may exchange Domicoin for USDT or USDC. Each Domicoin is pegged to 1/100th (or 1 cent) of the USDT or USDC. The Developer does not sup port or offer a market for Domicoin outside of the Game.

To play the Game, players must mint an Avatar, which is their medium of interaction with the Game. Each Avatar can also be customized with accessories, which increase the percentage of the total โ€œpotโ€ that a player is able to win in a domino game. The base Avatar percentage is 50%. Each accessory increases that percentage โ€“ so for example, a base avatar with a custom hat has an increased percentage of 60%. This means that if two 60% Avatars play a game of dominos and each stakes 100 Domicoins, the pot is 200 Domicoins. Then, the winning Avatar will take their Avatarโ€™s percentage โ€“ 60% in this case โ€“ which is equal to 120 Domicoins. If the Avatar is upgraded with further accessories, like sunglasses and gold chains and their percentage goes up to 75%, the winning player would take 150 Domicoins in a 100 โ€“ 100 staked game.
